Spiritual ICU | Catholic, Grief, Guilt, Loss, Healing
Ever wonder why God didn’t answer your prayers? Do you replay the “what ifs,” wondering if it was your fault? Are you carrying grief, guilt, and unanswered questions that feel too heavy to hold alone—even anger toward God?
Ranked Top 2.5% of podcasts globally by Listen Notes.
Spiritual ICU offers spiritual accompaniment rooted Scripture & a Catholic world-view, and is not counseling, therapy, or psychological treatment.
Spiritual ICU is a field hospital for the soul. This podcast is for Catholics grieving loss, guilt, and unanswered prayers. Through Sacred Scripture and real lived experience, each episode points you to Christ, the Divine Physician, who meets you in suffering, binds hidden wounds, and restores hope.
We are Aloisia and Kalala—a daughter and a widow who have walked through the loss of brothers, sons, a father, a husband, and more loved ones than we ever imagined.
We did not find healing by numbing pain, pretending to be strong, or forcing ourselves to “move on.” Instead, we encountered Christ in every loss, and the peace that surpasses understanding became real—even when the prayers we begged for were not answered as we hoped.
Now we share that hope with you—the healing that comes only from Jesus Christ, the Divine Physician.
If you are tired of carrying grief alone, if you long to trust God again after loss, and if you are searching for peace in the midst of suffering, this podcast is for you.
Take a deep breath—you have stepped into God’s ICU, where wounded souls are met with mercy.

Hello friends,
In this very first episode of The Spiritual ICU Podcast, we—Kalala and Aloisia (Sia)—open our story with you. We share how we walked through the loss of brothers, parents, a husband, and sons… and how, through every single one of those moments of grief, God’s peace accompanied us.
We reflect on Philippians 4:6–8 and how Scripture and the sacraments became our anchors —where we drew our strength when life could have broken us. The peace we’ve experienced isn’t personality, will-power, denial, or toughness…it’s God.
And that’s why we started this podcast: so people would know that God cares and is faithful. He is the Divine Physician. He sees every wound. And He desires to heal us —spiritually, emotionally, and deeply.
We leave you with the question we’ve had to face ourselves: Do you really believe that God is good — that He can give you peace in the midst of all of your grief?
We’re grateful you’re here as we begin this journey together.
With love,
Kalala & Sia

Have you been grieving the loss of someone you love? Carrying fear, guilt, unanswered prayers, or replaying the “what-ifs”? Holding a heaviness that’s hard to put into words? Maybe you don’t even know what you need, or what you’re looking for — you just know your heart hurts.
We’re Sia and Kalala — a Catholic mother and daughter who walked through a decade of deep loss… and the only reason we’ve experienced peace through it all is because of God.
Spiritual ICU is where we share scripture, real stories, and the treasures of our Catholic faith that carried us — a place where Christ, the Divine Physician, tends to the wounds we often keep hidden.
Welcome to God’s ICU, where His grace makes you whole.
